第75回不来方祭の経験
"75th Kozukata Festival" Experience

The Kozukata Festival at Iwate University, held from October 19th to 20th, and was a lively celebration of community, creativity, and culture. This year's theme was "Kingfisher," representing the desire to create a bright and inviting event that reflects the idea that everyone should enjoy life as if they were flying through the sky. The festival aimed to bring together students and local residents in the university's lovely natural setting, offering a variety of fun activities.

The festival started on Saturday, October 19th, and there was a lot of excitement. Unfortunately, rain forced the cancellation of outdoor booths. However, the festival atmosphere was still lively. The stage and indoor booths remained open, allowing visitors to enjoy various activities and connect with one another. A highlight of the day was the stage performances, where talented students showcased their hard work. From lively dance routines to beautiful a cappella songs and traditional dances, the stage was filled with energy and enthusiasm, earning plenty of applause. Despite the rainy weather, the Iwate University community, friends, family, and local residents came together to keep the festival going. The indoor activities created a warm and friendly atmosphere that everyone could enjoy together.

On Sunday, the sun finally came out, bringing new energy to the festival. With the nice weather, everyone could enjoy all the activities. This year, one of the most popular sweets was dango, a delicious Japanese rice dumpling that became a favorite. Many festival-goers left feeling satisfied and happy after enjoying these tasty snacks. The festival also celebrated diversity with a variety of international food stalls. Students from different backgrounds shared their cultures by offering dishes like Malaysian tea and American snacks. This not only enhanced the culinary experience but also highlighted the importance of diversity and cultural exchange within the university community.

Overall, the Kozukata Festival showcased the power of teamwork and creativity. It brought together students, faculty, and local residents for a meaningful and enjoyable celebration.
